There are many attractions within easy reach from Alice in the Territory Motel. Olive Pink Botanic Garden is only about 4 min by car or 27 min walk via Barett Drive if you love visiting Botanic Gardens.

Founded in 1956 by Miss Olive Muriel Pink. Olive Pink Botanic Garden has over 600 Central Australian plant species, including 33 that are rare or threatened. More than 80 bird species can be observed here.

The Garden is part of a substantial area of contiguous Crown Land that extends east from the Todd River on the southern edge of the Alice Springs Central Business District and is open to public seven days a week from 8am to 6pm.

There are three lovely Self Guided Walks plus three Garden Beds to explore.

Hill Walk
About 40 mins return. This walk introduces a number of native plants that grow in the rocky hill habitat of the region.

Wattle Walk
This self-guided walk introduces a number of wattles (Acacia) that grows in Central Australia.

Mallee Walk
This walk introduces a number of mallees that grows in Central Australia.

Don’t forget to take a break between walks and enjoy a cup of coffee and cakes at the Garden Café.
